STUDENT INTERNSHIPS
Davidson County General Sessions Court, Division IX
Judge Lynda Jones is pleased to announced an expansion of her current student internship program. Jones has hosted interns during summer since 2014 allowing 23 students, predominately female to intern. The expansion to 8 interns per year will allow students to intern during MNPS Fall and Spring breaks as well.
The internship provides exposure to both civil law and criminal justice encouraging bright students to pursue a path in the legal field. Jones is reserving 50 % of the slots to students of color with a least a B average to participate.
