2018 SCHEDULE AT GLANCE

Every year from September 15 through October 15, the Nashville Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation hosts the largest most comprehensive and inclusive program "Recognizing the business, professional, civic, artistic and cultural contributions of more than 57.5 million Hispanics in the nation and our local Nashville community"

HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH-LONG PROGRAM 

FRIDAY, September 14 (mentoring class starts September 7) Hispanic Heritage Month Kick Off Reception @Belmont University – Hispanic Professional, Entrepreneur & Business Leaders Breakfast Series - All SPONSORS recognized Entrepreneur mentorship of high school students from three Simon Youth Academies The Academy at Hickory Hollow (Southeast Nashville), The Academy at OpryMills (East Nashville), The Academy at Old Cockrill (West Nashville), participate in “Who is My Neighbor” photography project at The Academy at Old Cockrill /MASTER CLASS 10am–1pm -- by J Partipilo  

**Through Hispanic Heritage Month:  Minority Business Economic Impact by the Numbers Released through month/Social media posts

SUNDAY, September 23 Community Family Festival Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month @RiverGate Mall – 12 pm to 4 pm / Music and dance by Danza Azteca Coatlicue, Elena la Nena del Mariachi,  Angela Martinez, Yelina Valeria,  Virggi, also with  Eliud Trevino, Vero Salcedo,  Raquel La Chama, Anel Flores and M.C Claudio Vazquez with Stereo Nashville Spanish Radio. Supported by Nashville Noticias, El Crucero, Activa 1240, La Noticia newspaper (not final list of media partners) ---Hispanic visual artists teaching children

MONDAY, October 1: Students field trip to Radio Free Nashville – Visual and sound design workshop

FRIDAY, October 5:   "A Truly Inclusive Work Environment" PART 1:  Diversity and Inclusion business leader panel discussion breakfast  7:30 AM 

SATURDAY, October 6
“Who is My Neighbor” High-school student’s art work project from The Simon Youth Academy Opening Reception @Flatrock 5-7 PM

TUESDAY, October 9: "A Truly Inclusive Work Environment"  PART 2:  Diversity and Inclusion corporate leader panel discussion and Networking Reception  5 PM 

SATURDAY, October 13: "I AM REMARKABLE" Personal branding and empowerment workshop for women entrepreneurs --Presented by GOOGLE FIBER. 

MONDAY, October 15: Business & Community Excellence Awards @Waller – SPONSORS  and COMMUNITY PARTNERS RECOGNITION 6-8 PM (in Partnership with NAHCC)
